The Black Squeaker Project

International Composer and Organist, Carlo Forlivesi works the Elder Conservatorium's Sonic Arts Department to produce a transdisciplinary, immersive concert for the Elder Hall organ. Featuring Sho, and Habitat Soundscapes and Projection, this immersive work celebrates Atrapsalta AUDAX - the newly discovered but locally ubiquitous Adelaide Black Squeaker Cicada.

Laurence Walker’s procedurally generated plantlife and environmental projections support this musical concert.
